Douglas A. Steinback, 84, of Platteville, died on Monday, Nov. 28.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at the Platteville United Methodist Church, Platteville.  Rev. Brenda Whitford will officiate.  Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville.  Friends may call from 4 - 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, or from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church on Thursday.  Memorial may be made to Platteville United Methodist Church to maintain the church bells.  Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com
