Dr. Alva H. Jared, 78, passed away peacefully at Del Webb Hospital in Sun City West, Ariz., surrounded by his family on Dec. 21. He had been a long time resident of Platteville prior to retiring to Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church Trustee Fund, 13658 Meeker Blvd., Sun City West, AZ 87575.
