Edward E. “Butch” Mayer, 64, of Platteville died on Tuesday, Jan. 3 at his home. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dickeyville. Father Bernard Rott will officiate. Burial is at Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery. Friends can visit from 4 – 8 p.m. on Friday at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville.
