Eldon C. Updike, 85, Cuba City, died on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Southwest Health Center in Platteville.

He was born on Aug. 2, 1928 in Hickory Grove Township, Grant County, to Fred & Olivia (Walker) Updike. He married his lifelong partner, Marlene Moran on April 18, 1949 at the Methodist Church in Boscobel. He worked at the home farm with his brother, Mahlon until moving to Boscobel to do auctioneering in the state.

In lieu of flowers an Eldon C. Updike Memorial Fund has been established.
Services were held on Wednesday, June 11 at the United Methodist Church in Cuba City. Pastor Dan Verdegan officiated.

A private family burial will be held at a later date at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cuba City.
