Eli Matthias Martin, one day old son of Stuart and Ashley (Grinnell) Martin, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018 at the American Family Children’s Hospital, Madison. A private service was held on Monday, March 5, 2018 with burial at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Truman. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory of Platteville is serving the family. Eli is survived by his parents, Stuart and Ashley Martin, who will forever remember and cherish their little boy; grandparents, John and Rita Martin and Dan and Michelle Grinnell; great-grandparents, Dave and Joyce Wessel; his puppy, Charlie; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him greatly. Eli was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Leonard and Loretta Martin, Alvin and Martha Scheckel, and Gary and Patricia Grinnell.
