Genevieve “Jeanie” H. Franta, age 87 of Darlington, died on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at her home.  She was born on Sept. 13, 1926 in Madison to Dale H. and Florence A. (Lynch) Staver. 

Funeral Services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Steil Camacho Funeral Home, 206 E. Harriet Street, Darlington.  Burial followed at Union Grove Cemetery.  Visitation was held on Saturday from 2:00 until the time of service at the funeral home.
