James D. Collins, 64, Mt. Hope, died unexpectedly on Monday afternoon, November 17, 2014 at his residence in Mt. Ida Township, rural Mt. Hope.

He was born on June 7, 1950 in Lancaster, the son of Frank and Mary (Leighton) Collins. He married Robin Johnson on July 9, 1983 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gays Mills.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore with burial at St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church Cemetery in Mt. Hope Township, Grant Co.

The Larson Family Funeral Home, Fennimore, assisted the family with the arrangemennts.
