James D. Harris, age 82, died on Saturda, Feb. 6, 2016, at Southwest Health Center in Platteville.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Lancaster United Methodist Church.  Pastor Paul Fritz will be officiating. Burial of the cremains with military honors will follow in the Hillside Cemetery in Lancaster.  Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Thursday morning.  The Soman-Larson Funeral Home of Montfort is assisting the family and online condolences may be made at larsonfuneralhomes.com.
