James Hestad, nearly 92 years old, left us on the 7th of September 2026.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fennimore. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the church. His ashes will be carried to Hestad, Norway, and scattered in Hestadfjord.
