Mary E. “Sis” (Degenhardt) Govier, 94, Fennimore, passed away Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, at Dove Healthcare in Fennimore, surrounded by her loving family.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore with burial to follow in the Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Monday. In lieu of plants and flowers a memorial fund is being established in her loving memory. Following the committal service at the cemetery, the family invites you to join them for a Celebration of Life with food and fellowship at the Cottonwood Sports Bar & Supper Club.
