James “Jim” E. Davies, 71, of Platteville, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, at Atrium Post Acute Care in Lancaster.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14, at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home, 100 Park Place, Platteville, with Rev. Michael Short officiating. Private family burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster.  Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13, at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
