James ‘Jim’ Nachtigal, age 77, of De Forest passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with Cholangiocarcinoma, on September 14, 2016. 

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, September 19, at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Sun Prairie, with Monsignor Donn Heiar presiding. A visitation was held prior to the mass at St. Albert the Great Church. Visitation was also held on Sunday, September 18, at Cress Funeral Home in Sun Prairie. Burial took place on Tuesday, September 20, at Czech National Cemetery in Yuba.
