James W. McCarville, age 86 of Darlington, died on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Sienna Crest in Mineral Point.  He was born on December 29, 1927 in Hazel Green, to William & Ethel (Richards) McCarville.  He graduated from Darlington High School and entered the United States Navy.  He was honorably discharged in 1947. 
    Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 104 E. Harriet Street, Darlington, WI, with Fr. John Bosco Pudhota officiating.  Inurnment and full military honors will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 – 11:15 a.m. on Saturday prior to the funeral at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
