James Michael Sauter, 28, Vernon Hills, Ill., tragically lost his life in the line of duty on March 29, 2013 while serving as an Illinois State Trooper.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Moraine Valley Church, Palos Heights, Ill. Interment will be private.
