James T. Schneller Sr., 79, Platteville, died on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at the Community Evangelical Free Church in Platteville. Robert Bennett and Pastor Eric Erickson will officiate. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Platteville. Visitation was from 4–8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at the Melby Funeral Home and Crematory in Platteville, or from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the church.
