Jeffrey L. Butson, 65, passed away peacefully at his home in Platteville on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Platteville. Fr. Faustino Ruiz officiated. Burial with military honors was at Calvary Cemetery in Platteville. Visitation was from 4–7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2 at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home in Platteville and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church. A celebration of life followed the graveside services at the V.F.W. Bar, 110 E.
