Jerry (Jerald) O. Johnson, Seneca, died on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the University Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minn., with his family at his side.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Mt. Sterling Lutheran Church, Seneca Veterans Memorial or the American Cancer Society.

A Celebration of his life was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the Mt. Sterling Lutheran Church. Pastor Nile Sandeen officiated with burial in the Mt. Sterling Cemetery. Friends called at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Gays Mills on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. They also called at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
