John E. Melssen, 92, of Platteville, formerly of Dickeyville, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 19 at Oak Park Place in Janesville.

A memorial service with military honors accorded will be held at a later date. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City is serving the family. In lieu of plants and flowers, a John E.
