POTOSI—Joseph J. “Bimp” Stohlmeyer, age 79, of Potosi, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 3, at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tennyson with Father Richard Leffler officiating. Burial with military honors will be in St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Joseph J. “Bimp” Stohlmeyer Memorial Fund has been established. Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Potosi is serving the family.
