Joseph V. Pennekamp, 86, of Platteville, died on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home, Cuba City.  Requiem Mass was 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Platteville. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery, Platteville.  Military Rites were accorded by VFW Post #5276.  Friends called from 3 - 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, where there was a rosary at 2:45 p.m. Friends also called from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass on Friday at the church.  Memorials may be made to the Joseph V.
