Klara Templeton ended 92 years of an eventful, productive and happy life on April 6, 2015, following a brief illness. Respecting her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

She was born in Stangeland, Norway on December 5, 1922 as the fifth of six children to Samuel and Tora Lygren. She was christened in the Lutheran faith. The pristine and rugged terrain fo Scandanavia defined her view of the world, instilled an appreciation of nature's beauty and forged an indomitable will and independent spirit.
