EAU CLAIRE—LaVon “Bonnie” Marie Walther, age 65, of Eau Claire passed away on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 at home following a 7 year fight against Carcinoid Cancer.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Eau Claire. Pastor Nathan Aaseng officiated the service. Burial took place immediately following the funeral in the Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington. Memorials may be given to the UW-Platteville Foundation, Thomas Walther Scholarship Fund, 4506 South Oakwood Hills Parkway, Eau Claire, Wis. 54701.
