Marilyn R. Bennett, 82, of Benton, went to be with the Lord Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City. She was born Aug. 10, 1932 in New Diggings, the daughter of Fred G. and Rachel (Van Gorden) Pyzer.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Lafayette County Christian Center, 11560 Center Hill Road in Darlington with Rev. Mark Gilberts officiating. Burial was at Shawnee Cemetery in New Diggings. A visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at O’Flahrity-Erickson Funeral Home, 235 N. Judgement St. in Shullsburg.
