Mary Lou (Aldene) Nelson, 90, of Platteville, peacefully left this world and was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sept. 26 at Southwest Health.

A visitation will be held from 1–3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at the Platteville Free Methodist Church. A private family service will be held. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Platteville. The funeral service will be streamed on the Platteville Free Methodist Facebook page. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family. Memorials may be made to The Gideons International.
