CASSVILLE—Matthias “Matt” J. Lorscheter, age 85, of Cassville, passed away on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at his home after a long illness. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville with Father John Meinholz and Father William Seipp officiating. Burial with military honors will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Cassville.  Family will greet friends on Friday, Aug. 31 from 4 until 7 p.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.  Martin Funeral Home in Cassville is serving the family.
