DUBUQUE, IOWA—Nicholas L. “Nick” Schmitz, age 62, of Dubuque, Iowa, was called home peacefully at 8:49 a.m., on Saturday, Sept, 3, 2016.

To celebrate Nick’s life, family and friends visited from 5 until 7 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept, 6, at Behr Funeral Home.
