Robert A. “Bob” Mosley, age 92 of Darlington, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at his home. He was born April 11, 1925 in Darlington, the son of Edward and Edna (Thomas) Mosley. Bob graduated from Darlington High School in 1943. He lived and farmed in the Darlington area his entire life.
Bob is survived by one brother: Gaylord (Janet) Mosley of Darlington; 13 nieces and nephews; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Maxine Westerman and Ruth Kilcoyne; and two brothers-in-law: Jerry Kilcoyne and Charles Westerman.  
Bob was a member of Darlington United Methodist Church, a 71-year member of Darlington Free and Accepted Masons, and Pecatonica Antique Club. He spent many years collecting both antique toy and real tractors. Bob enjoyed his road trips to Chana, Ill. with Al Berry where they would enjoy their time at the flea market. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
A funeral service were held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Darlington United Methodist Church (546 Park Place, Darlington) where Rev. Angela Steinhauer officiated. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery. A visitation was held Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the church with a Masonic Service being held at 10:00 a.m. The Erickson Funeral Home is serving the family.
