Rosalie Fidelis Hirsbrunner, age 85, of rural Darlington, passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at Oakwood Villa in Altoona. She was born Sept. 8, 1928 in Darlington the daughter of Jacob and Rosa (Christen) Niffenegger.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 339 East Louisa Street in Darlington with Rev. Dr. Connie J. Peake officiating. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington. A visitation was held Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home, 508 Main Street in Darlington and Wednesday, February 12, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
