2014 Lancaster High School graduate Zach Hentrich recently won the 72-hole Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's golf championship to earn NACC Player of the Year honors.

Zach Hentrich, a 2014 graduate of Lancaster High School, and current junior at Edgewood College, claimed his first Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Player of the Year award by winning the 72-hole NACC Men’s Golf Championship held at Aurora, Ill. on April 22-23.

Hentrich shot under 80 in all four rounds of the split-season championship, shooting a pair of 74’s this spring. His score of 302 (+14) claimed the title by five strokes over his nearest opponent.

Hentrich became the fifth golfer in school history to win NACC Player of the Year honors, and although it was his first collegiate tournament title, he had finished in the top 10 in six events this year.
