Men’s Golf League
June 19
    Here are the results of the matches from the Monday Night Men’s League on Monday, June 19.
    DDS still sits in first-place despite a 3-2 loss to My Turn Pub, who also finished with Low Team Net on the night at 135. Fritz’s Burners jumped into second-place with a 3.5-1.5 win over Legends, while Blackbourn’s moved into third-place with a 4-1 win over Avon Locker.
    Hotshots took over fourth-place with a 5-0 blanking of New Guys, while last week’s second-place team, The Club, dropped to fifth with a 4-1 loss to Legends II.
    Mexican Cheese jumped out of the basement with a 4-1 win over Wagner’s Pest Control, while Jean Construction flushed Reilly Plumbing into the cellar with a 4.5-0.5 decision. 
    Just three golfers posted sub-40 rounds on the night led by Torry Thuli’s even-par round of 35. Bryan Black and Brent Tuescher each carded 39s on the night.
    Skins were won by Bill Tuescher with a birdie on #3 and Bryan Black with a birdie on #5. 
    Flags were won by Bill Tuescher for his tee shot on #1, Brian Bredeson for his chip shot on #3, Steve Corley for his tee shot on #5, Adam Wiegel for his long drive on #7 and a pair by Nick McElrath for his long putts on #8 and #9.

    As we near the halfway point of the season, Eric & Chappy look like the ones to beat, while Dave & Rod have their work cut out for them. Donny & sub Jared White snuck one game out from Eric & Chappy as Eric finally found the peg.  Jeremy & Mike took all 3 from Dave & Rod in some close games. Cary showed signs of coming out of his season long slump (??) as he & Shirly easily won all 3 from Bob & Jim. Adam & Kevin took 2 from Dusty & Lance to keep the middle four teams in the standings within 1-½ games of each other.
