Bulldogs fall to Cubans

BOSCOBEL - The Boscobel boys’ basketball team fell to Cuba City, 62-75, in an away game on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Scoring was kept close throughout, with the Bulldogs trailing by two points with 2-1/2 minutes to go in the game. The Cubans were able to break away in those last minutes to extend their lead.

“We got into early foul trouble affecting Ryan Latham, Dallas Marks, and Treston Davidson,” noted Coach Levi Esters.

Latham led in scoring with 15 points, followed by Marks with 14 and Chandler Cashman with 12.

The win leaves the Bulldogs 1-7 in conference play and 5-6 overall.

Boscobel will host the Fennimore Golden Eagles for conference play on Friday, Jan. 22. Varsity play gets underway at 7:30 p.m.
