Four Bulldog wrestlers place at Lancaster Invitational

BOSCOBEL - Boscobel’s wrestlers were on the road twice in two days over the past week, first heading to Riverdale for a dual meet Friday evening, Jan. 6, then on to Lancaster the following morning to participate in a 32-team meet.

At Riverdale

There were a limited number of matches possible for the Bulldogs as they faced the well-developed Riverdale wrestling program Friday.

Despite the serious competition faced on the mat, one Bulldog wrestler was able to claim the win. Wrestling at 160, Chase Beinborn was able to win over Brian Bieri by fall, in 1:39.

The final score was 60-6, Riverdale over Boscobel.

At Lancaster

Heading into the large Saturday morning meet that offered wrestlers multiple rounds to prove their mettle, the Bulldogs had four individuals place – Braiden Pickett (113), Chase Beinborn  (160), Dakota Frazier (132), and Kolten Achenbach (145).
