Panthers' trio ends season at state tournament

MADISON — A trio of Iowa–Grant/Highland wrestlers closed out the season over the weekend at the WIAA Individual State Wrestling Tournament at the Kohl Center in Madison.

Senior Jason Sebrook went 1–2 at 152 pounds in Division 3. Sophomore Cal Dorota also made it to Friday, but finished 1–2 at 170 pounds after back-to-back losses in the quarterfinals and consolation round.

Fellow sophomore Mason Welsh (19–6) lost his opening round match Thursday night against Pittsville’s Peter Esser 13–11 in overtime and was eliminated.
