FENNIMORE — Iowa–Grant outscored host Fennimore 29–19 in the second half of Friday’s Southwest Wisconsin Activities League opener to rally from a six-point halftime deficit for a 44–40 victory.

Sophomore Olivia Liddicoat finished with 10 points, 17 rebounds, six assists and four steals to lead the Panthers (1–2, 1–0 SWAL) to their first victory of the season.

Trinity Spurley scored all 10 of her points in the second-half comeback and pulled down six rebounds, while senior Katie Olson had seven points, six boards and four steals.

Freshman Brynlee Nelson scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Golden Eagles (1–2, 0–1 SWAL), who led 21–15 at the half.
