Dale and Sharon Dobson, Platteville, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 27, 2016. Dale and Sharon were married at Bethal Lutheran Church in La Crosse on Oct. 27, 1956. They will celebrate their diamond anniversary  with  immediate family including their two children, Lu Ann (Chuck) Bowman, Platteville, and Dan (Kim) Dobson, Branson, Mo.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and their brothers and sisters.
They have resided in the area their entire adult  lives.  The Dobsons  spent nearly 40 years on their farm in rural Potosi, where they raised their family and tended to livestock including horses, cattle, donkeys, dogs, cats, goats and chickens. After Dale’s retirement from John Deere, the couple moved to Tennyson. Due to numerous health related conditions, the couple has returned to Platteville.  Sharon resides at ManorCare and Dale resides at Park Place, where they continue to be happily married and feel blessed to be celebrating 60 years together.
