Jeff and Melissa David announce the birth of their son, Joseph Wayne David, at 9:27 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Southwest Health in Platteville.
Joseph weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 18.5 inches long. He joins a sister, Virginia, 3.
Grandparents are Don and Kathy David, Potosi, Dan and Lori Drake, and Jeff Blanchar, all of Madison.
Great-grandparents are Wayne and Louise Davies, Monona, and Bob Drake, Lubbock, Texas.
Joseph’s father is a teacher and his mother is a director at Wisconsin Badger Camp.
