Charles Searles and Kimberly Brown of Shullsburg are the parents of a son, Oliver Arthur Searles, born Nov. 19, 2012 at the Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County. He weighed 9 pounds, 14 ounces and was 22 inches long. Oliver joins four siblings Jonnathan, 15, Annalynne, 11, Natalie, 6, and Elliott, 4.
    Grandparents are Arthur Searles of Dubuque, Iowa; Judy Sawyers of Norfolk, Va.; and Robert Brown of Orlando, Fla.
