Douglas Kieler and Christina Hance along with their parents, Louis and Ann Kieler, Platteville, and Roger and Kelly Hance Kent, Wash., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The future groom is a 2004 graduate of Platteville High School. He attended UW–Platteville for 2.5 years before joining the Army. He is currently stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C. He was previously stationed in Washington, where he met his fiancé.
The future bride graduated from Mount Rainier High School in 2004 and now works in child care.
The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the Holiday Inn in Dubuque on the evening of Dec. 28.
