Week three horseshoe hunt clue
Crawford County 4H Horse Club
Horseshoes

The week three clue did not get to the Independent-Scout in time to make it into our print issue this week, but we are supporting the effort by providing it to the community on Facebook. Please accept our apologies, and look for next week’s clue in the final week four hunt in the paper – happy hunting!

Crawford County 4-H horse project families have been working hard to raise funds for a new horse barn on the Crawford County fairgrounds.  We are so close to our goal and wanted to bring awareness to this new barn and have a little fun with the community members and a horseshoe hunt.  Everyone in the community is invited to participate in the hunt for the horseshoe! The horseshoe is hidden in a public location in Crawford County.  With the horseshoe you will find directions on how to claim your pizza prize donated by Greener’s Station in Seneca.  Here are your clues:

• You will find me along the path that extends north 294.1 miles from the Mississippi River to Brule, WI.

• I am located in a town whose general population is in the 400s, one day a year my population sky rockets as we gather to celebrate our nation’s independence.

• More than just a name in a Christmas carol, I am located next to a place of gathering; this Saint can get a bird’s eye view of this little town with a big heart.

There will be one more horseshoe hidden next week.  Good luck finding the horseshoe this week!  For more information on 4-H, contact the Extension Office at 608-326-0224.
