Bipartisan discussion on foreign influence on elections

The Republican and Democratic Parties of Crawford County will jointly sponsor: A discussion of the techniques employed by foreign government actors that attempt to influence democratic institutions.

 Dave Schroeder is a strategist and senior cyber subject matter expert at the UW–Madison. Schroeder has served as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer and intelligence professional in the United States Navy. His expertise includes military cyber operations, foreign intelligence and foreign cyber-enabled information and influence operations.

He holds master’s degrees in Cybersecurity Policy and Information Warfare, a graduate certificate in Space Systems from the Naval Postgraduate School, and is a graduate of the Naval War College and Joint Forces Staff College.

The presentation will take place at the Prairie du Chien High School – Little Theater – 800 E. Crawford Street in Prairie du Chien on Tuesday, November 19 at 6 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to attend this non-partisan event. Also non-perishable food pantry donations are encouraged.
