Climate change event rescheduled
5-10 Lindmeier
Bob Lindmeier

An event that was canceled due to bad weather last month has been rescheduled.

WKOW-TV Chief Meteorologist Bob Lindmeier will discuss Climate Change  –  The Real Story: The Cause of Climate Change, Its Effects, and What We Can Do About It on Saturday, May 12, at 3:00 p.m. at the Richland Center Community/Senior Center, Meeting Room A, 1050 N. Orange Street, Richland Center.

Lindmeier has been presenting weather at the station for 37 years and uses his many years of experience as an atmospheric scientist who has closely followed the issue of climate change to offer education on: how humans are causing climate change; the many impacts from climate change locally, nationally and globally; the overwhelming consensus in the scientific community; what you can do to be part of the solution; the need to put a price on carbon.

The event is being sponsored by Citizens’ Climate Lobby.

All are welcome to attend this free event.
