Authorities seek help with Westby-Viroqua area burglary

The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office and Vernon County Crimestoppers are asking the public’s help in solving a recent burglary.

Sometime on May 13 a house on Three Chimney Road west of US Hwy. 14 between Westby and Viroqua was burglarized.  Items tolen included a Smith & Wesson .38 revolver handgun, a Ruger 10-22 handgun and an undisclosed amount of cash.  A possible vehicle involved in the burglary is an older, red-colored Chevy or Ford truck.  If a suspicious person or vehicle was seen in the area, Vernon County Crimestoppers is asking that it get reported.
