Gayle I. Bruegmann, age 89, of Steuben, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Gayle was born on November 10, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late George and Bernice (Gore) Kay.

A memorial service for Gayle will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 107 Dousman Street, Wauzeka, with Rev. Kevin Baker officiating.

A visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Gayle will be laid to rest at Wauzeka Cemetery.
