Gun incident in bar results in two arrests

PLATTEVILLE — A gun incident in a Platteville bar resulted in two arrests early Wednesday morning.

Police received a 911 call about three people wielding a gun at Boondocks Bar, 70 N. Second St., around 12:30 a.m.
Imari J. Richardson, 24, Green Bay, was taken to the Grant County Jail on a probation hold.

Richardson is on five years extended supervision after a 2007 conviction on two counts of armed robbery with threat of force, according to state court records.

Montreal John Bully, 22, Platteville, was taken to Southwest Health Center in Platteville by Platteville EMS for a head injury. Bully was then taken to the Grant County Jail.

A Grant County sheriff’s deputy located one of the weapons in the incident later.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Department and UW–Platteville police assisted in the incident.
