Catherine A. Krentz, former administrator of the Lafayette Manor in Darlington, was found guilty of official use of position for personal financial gain, a class U forfeiture, on Nov. 21 at the Lafayette County Circuit Court, presided over by Judge Thomas Vale.
Krentz did not make an appearance in the courtroom on Nov. 21, as the case had been resolved by stipulation, according to District Attorney, Charlotte Doherty. Krentz was sentenced to pay a fine of $326.50 on or before Jan. 22, 2013.
Krentz recently handed in her resignation for the post of administrator of the Lafayette Manor after being on administrative leave since Aug. 31.
