A 19-year-old Lancaster man was placed on four years probation, including six months in jail, on six fourth-degree sexual assault charges and one felony count of capturing an image of nudity.

Cody Thomas Pluemer pleaded no contest to the charges in Grant County Circuit Court March 11.

Pluemer was originally charged with repeated sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl when Pluemer lived in Dickeyville between May 2008 and March 2009, for alleged touching of the girl’s genitals, according to court records.

Pluemer’s probation term includes not having unsupervised contact with children younger than 16, registering as a sex offender for five years, and not consuming intoxicants.
