The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, is notifying the public of the intended release of registered sex offender Brian Vadnais to the community.

Vadnais, 53, will be staying at S337 24th Court, Ontario, in Forest township.  His intended release date is on or before May 30.

He was convicted in Milwaukee County in 1994 of first degree sexual assault of a child.  In the past, his victims were juvenile female acquaintances.

Vadnais’ activities will be monitored by various forms of electronic devices.  He must also comply with requirements of lifetime sex offender registration.

The release of this information is intended to keep the public informed of sexual offenders who are residing in the community and cannot be used to threaten, harass or otherwise intimidate Vadnais.

Additional information regarding sexual offenders can be obtained from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Website at offender.doc.state.wi.us/public.
