FENNIMORE - The Southwest Technical College Campus in Fennimore was closed this morning (Nov. 1) in response to threats toward a student.

The incident arose from a domestic dispute involving William A. Howell, of Livingston, who is now in custody.

Howell made threats to harm the student, according to Grant County Sheriff Nate Dreckman. Dreckan believed Howell's intent did not involve use of a weapon.

Southwest Tech posted the closure online and sent students and staff an image of Mr. Howell advising that 911 should be contacted if he was seen.
