Tips sought in cemetery damage

Vernon County Crime Stoppers and the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office in Viroqua are asking for the public’s help to solve a case of property damage at a cemetery.

During the weekend of Oct. 2-4, grass at the Billings Creek Cemetery, on Cemetery Road east of Ontario in Forest township, was damaged severely.

The person or persons responsible caused the damage by driving and spinning through the cemetery.

An empty Budweiser beer bottle was left at the scene.
