DARLINGTON – The Darlington School District Board of Education toured the Darlington High School remodel project after the monthly meeting Monday night, Aug. 21.
District Administrator Denise Wellnitz informed the board on what still needed to be completed but stated that school would be opening on time on Sept. 5. The biggest change the board noted was the library, with furniture, flooring and walls up, compared to last time the board saw the room. Wellnitz stated that some workers helping complete the library are graduates of Darlington and are excited about the changes.
